When we asked what we should do she said she guessed we could use towels from our room. They were out of pool towels, and when we asked the front desk for more we were told they were out and wouldn't have more for several hours.
The pool is small and cold but better than nothing. People in our party had their reservations lost and during the less than 24 hours we were there we heard of several others in other groups who had reservations lost as well. We told the front desk because we didn't want to get charged for it, and they sprayed a neutralizer in the room that helped. It smelled of cigarette smoke, although apparently the whole hotel is smoke free. It seems like the owners have a nice casino and got stuck with a hotel they have no interest in running well.
